Cloth Diapering Journey

Let me just say, when we started this journey it was an easy one. River was exclusively breastfed so her diapers were easy to wash. No rinsing required.
River is 1 now and eats everything and anything. She is still breastfeeding so it help a little, but now I have to rinse.
Blueberries are the worst culprit yet. I will never feed them to her again until she is out of cloth. Trust me, you don't want to deal with that mess.

Now we are using Bum Genius and Fuzzi Bunz. I love these diapers so much. We purchase them from Click here to visit Kelly's Closet.
They have great customer service and fast shipping. I have gotten fabulous deals there as well.

Cloth diapering is something I would have never imagined doing. I did disposables with the boys and was going to do them with River as well. Now, I would NEVER go back. I love the fact I don't have to worry about leaky diapers, diapers piling up etc.. Now I just use and wash. Super easy and save a butt load of money.

Our German car seat adventure.....

We went out to Regensburg to Toys'R'Us.. We had a lot of fun playing with the car seats. Well, i had fun.

I don't get how the law allows a 9m old to be facing foward here. It breaks my heart knowing what could happen to their necks in a wreck.

Anyways, Seth tried a German infant carrier out b/c I was curious as to how tall they were. He is 28m, 24lbs and 34" ans still has an inch before outgrowing the infant carrier. If only people realized the dangers maybe they would use the seat longer. There is no excuse for it.

He also tried out a Romer King. Romer is the German Britax.... That was okay minus the fact it would be outgrown around age 3. A 3 yr old still needs to be harnessed. :(

Johanthon tried out the boosters which I really really love. At least they can get something right with car seat safety. We will be saving for a German booster.....

Anyways enjoy the pics. Europeans do not use chest clips.

The first pic is of them safely harnessed in the van. ENJOY!

We have a potty trained 2 yr old!!!

YEAH! So I think it is offically safe to say Seth is potty trained! What a relief.
We struggled last month so I put it off a few weeks and then we tried it again. It worked..

What a relief to have him out of diapers before the baby comes.

Visiting Santa

The boys went to see Santa yesterday. Seth wasn't to happy so I had to sit in the picture with him.

They are excited for Christmas. I am excited for them.

Oh Christmas Tree! Oh Christmas Tree!

Wow! When we got here we were warned about the german Christmas Tree's. Of course, I didn't think they could be that bad.

I couldn't be more wrong. You know the tree from Charlie Brown's Christmas? Well that is what our tree looks like, but bigger.

The boys love it and loved decorating it and that is all that matters (even though the star is much to heavy)!

Merry Christmas!!!!

Johnathon's Thanksgiving Musical

I missed his line by 5 seconds. He was so very upset. Here are pics from his performance and a video if I can figure out how to attach it.

Enjoy!
